DONGOLA – The Union County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident where approximately $2 million of hemp was stolen from a field last week.
According to a release, 42 acres of hemp were stolen between November 1-14 from a field east of Dongola. Hemp was also stolen recently from a warehouse facility in the western part of the county.
Those with information about the thefts are asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 833-5500.
