Green Day is set to explode out of 2019 before the Hella Mega Tour in 2020, as they will perform during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve Dec. 31, and appear at the 2019 Game Awards Thursday.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the band as a part of the New Year’s Eve lineup, which will also feature SHAED and a multitude of pop performers such as Dua Lipa, Ava Max and Paula Abdul.

Elsewhere, Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley announced via Twitter the veteran rockers as special performers for the upcoming ceremony, tied with a game-related announcement.

Green Day’s upcoming album, Father of All…, will release Feb. 7, 2020.
