Mt. Vernon Township High School (MVTHS) officials are partnering with Regional Office of Education #13 and other area partners to create what they are calling “Invictus Academy,” an educational center for at-risk youth in the area.
MVTHS Superintendent Jeff Fritchtnitch said there will be many features in the upgraded H-building at the school’s former campus to make the learning environment as comfortable as possible.
He hopes improvements will be complete and students will be moved in by February 1.
