Two Arrested on Warrants for Meth During Crossville Traffic Stop

CROSSVILLE – A traffic stop late Friday night on Winkler St. in Crossville resulted in the arrest of two people wanted on warrants for meth possession.

According to Crossville Police, Sheena Garrett of Crossville and Stephen Lofton of Carmi were arrested at the scene. They were in a vehicle with two others during the traffic stop.

Garrett was wanted on a Wayne County Failure to Appear warrant for possession of methamphetamine, and Lofton on a Coles County Failure to Appear warrant for possession of methamphetamine. Garrett’s bond was set at $500 cash, with Lofton’s at $5,000 cash.

They’re currently held in the White County Jail in Carmi.
