Harrisburg to Consider Waiving May Water Bills for Closed Non-Essential Businesses

The Harrisburg City Council will discuss possibly waiving May water bills for closed non-essential businesses at their meeting Thursday night.

The idea to provide relief to those local businesses arose from a special meeting held Tuesday to hear from businesses about possibly re-opening in the community.

Also on Thursday, the council will consider authorizing the advertisement of bids for a new police car, small business downstate grants, and the July 4 fireworks display.
