HARRISBURG – Lawmakers are headed back to Springfield this week for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began and State Senator Dale Fowler said Friday more voices need to be involved in the re-opening process of the state.
Fowler added he would like for there to be dialogue between the governor and the people to find the best way for every Illinois resident to get through the pandemic.
Fowler said his goals this week include revisions to the Restore Illinois plan, getting a responsible budget in place, and trying to plan for the future with “many unknowns” because of the coronavirus outbreak.
