MT. VERNON – Cedarhurst Center for the Arts is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The award is part of more than $84 million in grants approved by Chairman Mary Anne Carter as part of the Arts Endowment’s second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2020.
Director of Development Hillary Esser said the grant wouldn’t be possible without community support.
She added the outdoor sculptures have become iconic landmarks for Mt. Vernon.
Cedarhurst will re-open their Sculpture Park June 13, welcoming visitors 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
