SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Department of Public Health officials Sunday reported 639 new cases of COVID-19, including 6 deaths, the lowest single-day increase for the state since March.
Over 147,000 total positive COVID-19 tests have been confirmed statewide as of Sunday with 7,020 deaths, according to coronavirus.illinois.gov. The website also reported over 1,700,000 total tests have been performed.
Locally, four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported Sunday in Williamson County with one in Franklin County. Two cases were confirmed in White County, while one was reported in Gallatin County.
All cases are in isolation.
