Mt. Vernon Businessman Found Dead in Swimming Pool at Ladue Home

LADUE, MO – The Ladue, MO Police Department confirmed the death of a 46-year-old Mt. Vernon businessman Sunday morning.

According to Ladue Police Chief Ken Andreski, Steven L. Beal was found dead Sunday morning in a swimming pool at the Ladue home he shared with his wife.

Officers responded around 8 a.m. to a report of a possibly deceased male in the 100 block of Ladue Rd.

The St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene and will have share a cause for Beal’s death at a later time. He was the CEO of National Railway Equipment and Rare Chophouse in Mt. Vernon.
