SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – Kroger is joining the list of retailers that will require customers to wear a mask to shop at their store.
In a tweet Wednesday, company officials said “With the increase in COVID-19 cases across the country, we are committed to doing our part to help reduce the spread of the virus. Starting July 22, we will require all customers in all locations to wear a mask, joining our associates who continue to wear masks.”
Kroger joins Walmart, who also announced the change this week requiring all customers to wear masks.
For those who can’t wear a mask due to medical reasons, you are asked to use Kroger’s pickup or delivery services.
