CARMI – A Carmi man faces burglary and other charges following his arrest Wednesday.
Carmi Police received a report Wednesday of a burglary at Slay’s Carpet on East Main Street. Police reported that a door handle was damaged and some items were stolen. One of the items was found in 45-year-old Donald E. Stover’s possession at the time of his arrest during an incident at Trelleborg East in Carmi around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. The other item was located in the area near the L&L building where Stover was arrested.
Stover is facing burglary, criminal damage to property, possession of stolen property, and theft charges.
