MT. VERNON – Mt. Vernon City Schools District 80, currently on a full-remote learning due to the coronavirus pandemic, are readying a change to a hybird learning schedule in October.
Superintendent Aletta Lawrence said Tuesday students will remain on virtual learning until Friday, October 16th.
Lawrence added she hopes the change to a hybrid schedule for the second quarter will result in changes each quarter to eventually have students back in school buildings full-time.
The decision to transition to the hybrid schedule was made at Monday night’s school board meeting.
