SPRINGFIELD – Gov. JB Pritzker said Wednesday he will announce new reopening plans in the coming days.
The governor is expected to lay out a plan to move towards normalcy in stages, taking into account the needs of businesses to reopen further as well as keeping people safe.
Pritzker said more than 28 percent of Illinoisans 16 and older have been vaccinated, including over 58 percent of seniors. Around 4.2 million doses of the vaccine have been administered in the state.
