ELDORADO – Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado will hold a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic on April 16 and no appointment will be needed.
According to a release, two different vaccines will be offered at different times at College Heights Baptist Church.
From 9 a.m. to noon, 175 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be given. From 1 to 3 p.m. 80 doses of Moderna will be given, and patients will schedule appointments for their second dose, due four weeks later.
Officials said clinic ending times are approximate, as vaccine supplies may be used up prior to the stated close of each clinic.
Anyone 18 and older who lives or works in Illinois will be eligible for the vaccine. The process and administration of the COVID-19 vaccine throughout the state is being directed and overseen by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
